Subject: parking lot construction paving project SQL

As part of finishing the Fuel Farm Relocation and Pump Station Rehabilitation Project, PG&E is required to perform work in the terminal building parking lot to connect their existing power to the Airport’s new transformers and equipment. In order to ensure the safety of the electricians performing this switchover, electrical power must be disconnected. While we have asked that this work occur after 5:00 PM to minimize the impact of this work, PG&E has indicated that they will not schedule night work unless it is of an emergency nature.

PG&E has scheduled this work for April 26th from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM. There will be an additional shutdown on May 11th from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM. During this time, there will be no electrical power on the east side of the San Carlos Airport. This includes the Terminal Building and hangars Charlie through Golf.

Thank you for your understanding and patience as we work to finish this important project. If you have any questions, please contact the Airport Office at 650.573.3700.
