SQL (2/27/17) & HAF (3/3/17) Runway Closures

from the Airport Manager:

In order to reduce Foreign-Object-Debris (FOD) and maintain the condition of our pavement, we have scheduled sweeping of the San Carlos Airport and Half Moon Bay next week. Please see the Runway closure schedule below:

San Carlos Airport Runway 12/30 will be closed on Monday, February 27th from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM local for sweeping

Half Moon Bay Airport Runway 12/30 will be closed on Friday, March 3rd from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM local for sweeping

These dates and times are subject to change. Check NOTAMs prior to flight.

We will also be sweeping the taxiways, taxilanes and transient ramps. The Airports will remain open during sweeping operations, except as noted above.

The Airport has contracted with County sweepers to conduct quarterly sweeping of both Airports.

If you have any questions, please contact Marty Wray, Manager of Operations, at 650.573.3700 or mwray@smcgov.org.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Airport Manager
