With the federal government shutdown set to commence at midnight Friday Dec. 21, 2018, we have received inquiries related to the status of air traffic control services at the San Carlos Airport.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has confirmed that air traffic control services, including those provided by contract towers such as the San Carlos Airport, will remain open without interruption during this shutdown.
