We will begin with a combined business meeting of Calpilots and the San Carlos Airport Association and follow up with our Gary’s presentation at 7PM.

Join us for a fun and informative look at an airline pilot’s perspective on professionally operating your GA aircraft. Learn from an experienced airline captain and Bonanza owner. Airline ops readily adapted to GA flying. Utilizing Crew Resource Management while flying single-pilot. Efficient use of flows and checklists, standardization of procedures. Comparison of airline recurrent training to GA flight reviews and training.

Gary Schank is a recently retired Boeing 737 Captain with Delta Airlines. For over 29 years he flew Boeing, McDonnell-Douglas and Airbus airliners all over the world. He is type rated in the B737, A330, DC-9, CE-500, and SA-227. Captain Shank instructed on the DC-9 for the airline and is also a CFI, a FAASTeam Representative, and an owner of a Bonanza A36. Captain Schank is also a member of the Flying Musicians Association, is a practicing attorney, and is Vice President for Region 6 of the California Pilots Association.
