The Annual Membership Meeting will be held Wed. May 29, 2019 at the Hiller Museum. Dinner and socializing will start at 6PM. The program will begin at 7PM. The Airport Manager will update us on issues at the Airport and we will deal with several business items including election of Board members.

We have been very busy for our members and SQL. Please join us for our a review of current and recent projects and issues at San Carlos Airport from the pilots’ perspective. Topics covered will be:

  1. Surf Air and Bayside Visual Approach: what happened and where do we go from here
  2. Voluntary Noise Abatement and the Part 150 Noise Study
  3. Redwood City new developments and avigation easements
  4. The 30 runup area (with a little history on lead)
  5. Replacement of the VASIs
  6. Fixing the REILs
  7. Maintenance shop on the field
